The best investment on the planet
Recently I received a very profitable investment offer again. An old friend from Facebook sent me a message with high profit promises.
He also told me that he has already earned tens of thousands of dollars with this system with a very small investment. I myself could also profit from this by participating in this system.
The company behind it was founded in 2018 and has 50 million US dollars as seed capital.
Each month they make between 5% and 10% profit. You can invest as little as $300 and build a fortune.
Well, maybe you have already received such offers and maybe you have already invested in such things. Let's see how real this can be:
1. someone who is really able to get between 5 and 10 percent return every month is unlikely to need an investor with 300 dollars. Someone who is that successful would at least double his capital every year. So institutional investors like insurance companies, banks and pension funds would give such a trader so much money that he would not even have the idea to approach retail investors.
But the big fish on the market know that something like this is not possible in the long run. Therefore they are satisfied with less profits. They would rather have less profit but their capital is secure.
So if they don't do it, why should I do it?
2. if this company was really as great as someone thinks in the first step and really had 50 million capital, then after 1 year they would already have 100 million, after 2 years 200 million, after 3 years 400 million and so on. So it would only take a few years and this company would make more cash per year than there is on the whole planet, right? So why does someone like that need funds from investors at all?
A simple calculation of compound interest thus puts an end to our seemingly perfect investment.
I know, there are also companies or people who promise much more profit, but now everyone should realize that this is simply not realistic.
So if successful investors and simple mathematics tell us that it can't work, then why do we have these systems and why do people pay in money here in the hope that it might work?
In our world today almost everyone dreams of wealth and power. Our whole life is all about consumption and success. Money offers more possibilities and therefore the urge to get more of it is always there. The hope it might work this time and the greed drives people to invest in such systems.
Of course my old friend on Facebook did not make me this offer as a good Samaritan. Obviously he gets his commissions for every referred customer. Maybe he even earns a share of my "profits"?
There is always a fraud behind these systems. People unfortunately believe far too often that a fortune can be made from nothing. But as long as there is no service behind it, it is simply not possible to make money. Even the financial industry must recognize this. At some point the crash always comes and currently (April 2020) we are heading for one.
The greed of the people drives them again and again into this trap. Unfortunately!
If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
